C.T. Taylor Construction was founded by Charles “Charlie” Taylor in 1977 and incorporated in Ohio in 1980.
From its origins as a concrete and masonry business, C.T. Taylor took on other challenges along the way, such as pre-engineered structures, and evolved into a full-service merit shop general contractor. With the hard-won experience involved in self-performing concrete work and steel erection, C.T. Taylor became one of the first firms in the area to pioneer the use of tilt-up structural concrete construction and earned
national awards for the innovative application of this creative technology.
As the skill sets grew, C.T. Taylor took on larger and more challenging projects. The natural progression led to developing investment properties that were done on a design/build basis.
Beginning in the late 1990s, with the creation of the Ohio School Facilities Commission,
C.T. Taylor was ideally situated to become engaged in the construction of new and
renovated schools. The company has been successful on a repeated basis in obtaining
a large and significant share of K-12 School market. We are now considered to be one of Northeast Ohio's leading school builders.
Throughout this period of steady expansion of volume and skill sets, C.T. Taylor has never lost sight of its core belief in providing the highest quality work for its public and private clients. A continuing series of awards from The Builders Exchange, Tilt-up Concrete Association, and the Associated General Contractors are testament to that dedication on the part of every member of the C.T. Taylor Team.
Well into the 21st Century, C.T. Taylor is now well positioned and experienced to deliver construction in any way imaginable including lump sum, cost plus, design/build or construction management at risk.
As C.T. Taylor continues to grow, we continue to maintain our core values, committing
to each and every one of our clients to deliver quality work, on time, on budget and most
